The GGBC Biodiversity Lecture Series

The GGBC hosts one major lecture on biodiversity every autumn. This event is intended for both GGBC members and the general public. The aim is to bring a high-profile biodiversity researcher or researchers to Gothenburg to engage the public and encourage enthusiasm for the natural world.

In 2018 the GGBC will hold its inaugural biodiversity lecture. It will be delivered by Peter and Rosemary Grant, famed evolutionary biologists working on “Darwin’s finches” in the Galapagos.

The event will take place on November 20, 2018 at 14.00 in the main room of the Wallenberg Conference Centre. The event will also be broadcast live online.

Attendance is free and includes coffee and mingle after the event, however registration is required.

You can register for the 2018 Biodiversity Lecture here.
